My goal as a therapist is to provide a supportive space for you to share and process your most pressing struggles, emotions, thoughts, and worries. I am here to not only hear your story, but to also equip you with tools so that you may develop greater insight and coping skills to help you better connect to the present moment and explore the next steps of your life. I believe in building connections with clients so that we may collaborate in our work together. I also encourage clients to provide me with continuous feedback so that I may know what is most effective in your treatment.
I have experience helping clients learn to manage symptoms of depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, and ADHD. I help clients build more intentional behaviors and thought patterns so they can live more effectively by integrating various approaches such as CBT, person-centered counseling, mindfulness, expressive arts, DBT, and ACT.
I am passionate about learning, raising awareness, and reducing stigma around mental health. I believe every person is full of potential and capable of self-growth, even when faced with the most challenging mental health struggles. As Jon Kabat-Zinn said, “You can’t stop the waves, but you can learn to surf.” Join me in learning to surf the waves.
